Grants

The Wells County Foundation strives to ensure that its grantmaking effectively meets donors’ charitable interests and addresses the community’s changing needs.  Grants are viewed as investments in the community that should be made wisely and fairly.
Effective grantmaking requires good working relationships with nonprofit agencies.  Grant recipients are the Foundation’s partners in community betterment.  Their ideas and capabilities determine the impact of grant investments.

The Foundation gives priority to programs having a positive effect on the Wells County community.  Grantmaking fields of interest include arts and culture, education, economic and community development, health and human services, and other charitable purposes.
