Bettye J. Minniear Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund:  Established in 2001 by Deborah J. Stanley in memory of Bettye J. Minniear for the purpose of providing an annual scholarship award for a graduating Southern Wells High School senior.  The award honors an individual who has demonstrated financial need, has maintained a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and is in pursuit of a post secondary education, (vocational or academic) at an accredited institution.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicant must:

1. Be a graduating senior of Southern Wells High School;
2. Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 (4.0 scale); and
3. Have demonstrated financial need.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

Interested individuals who feel they meet the eligibility criteria must file an application with the school’s Guidance Office by April 5.  Applications may be obtained from that office.
