the foundation is pleased to announce the continuation of community needs assessment grants for 2025
In 2022, the Foundation conducted a community needs assessment to help inform its grantmaking and scholarship initiatives. [Click here to download the Wells County Needs Assessment.]

Four areas have been identified that will be critical to the future of Wells County:

Child Care and Early Childhood Education

Substance Abuse Disorder

Workforce Development

Throughout 2023 and 2024 the Foundation awarded $191,181 through needs assessment grant cycles to address these four critical areas.
The Foundation Board has approved $100,000 in funding—$25,000 per critical area—for impactful community projects and programs.
