Q: What can I expect when I've been notified that I have received a Wells County Foundation Scholarship?

A: After you receive a letter notifying you of your award, read the letter carefully to see what the next step should be.

Q: What do I do after I've received my scholarship award?

A: Submit your tuition invoice statement from your college to kmcnally@wellscountyfound.org.

Q: How long until I can expect to see my scholarship award money?

A: Once you have turned in your tuition invoice statement, please allow 7-10 business days to process.

Q: Can I apply for scholarships after high school?

A: Yes! Look for our scholarship postdate (February 1) to see if you qualify for our adult scholarships.

Q: Can I send a thank you note? And where do I send it?

A: Absolutely! We will make sure the donor and Board of Directors sees it. Address note to The Wells County Foundation and attention Kaitlyn McNally (Scholarship Manager) or to the Board of Directors.

Q: Do I have to use my entire scholarship right away?

A: No! We hold scholarship awards for 2 years. If you don't need to use the money right away, just let Kaitlyn McNally (kmcnally@wellscountyfound.org) know and she will note your account. If you decide to defer a year from college, the same applies.
