Edward and Henrietta Goetz STEM Scholarship-Word doc — Awards scholarships to individuals who have completed one year of full-time study and are pursuing a degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math). Deadline is June 3. GoetzStem-GoogleDoc 

John and Martha Mugg Memorial Scholarship-Word doc — Awards one scholarship to a Wells County resident who has successfully completed one year of college attending an Indiana college or university in pursuit of a two- or four-year degree. Deadline is June 3Mugg-GoogleDoc

Wells County Medical Alliance Scholarship-Word doc — Awards scholarships to individuals who are enrolled in a medically related field of study with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Deadline is June 3. MedAlliance-GoogleDoc

Teaching Scholarships

We have grouped the scholarships listed below into one application!

Mary Elizabeth Steiner Babcock Scholarship— Scholarships will be available to education majors planning to teach at the elementary or secondary level. Must have completed at least two (2) years of full-time study at an accredited state supported college or university within the State of Indiana.
 

Ralph A. Broman Educational Scholarship— Scholarships will be available to education majors who have completed two (2) full years of study at an accredited college or university and are planning to teach at the elementary or secondary level. 


K. Robert Ehrman Educational Scholarship— First priority will be given to those students planning to teach instrumental music. If there are no qualified candidates, then scholarships will be available to all education majors planning to teach at the elementary or secondary level. Candidates may be completing undergraduate work or continuing education at the postgraduate level. 

Mary V. Reinhard Scholarship— Awards scholarships to individuals who have completed two years of full-time study and are pursuing a degree in elementary or secondary education, intending to enter the teaching profession. 

Sellers Family Memorial Scholarship— Provides scholarships to individuals who have completed one year of full time study at an accredited college or university and have declared a major in elementary education or vocal music education and plan to enter the teaching profession. Preference is given to graduates of Blackford High School (having resided in Harrison (Montpelier) Township at graduation), Bluffton High School, Southern Wells High School or Norwell High School (having resided in either Lancaster Township or Rockcreek Township at graduation).

Nursing Scholarships

Ingeburg Clawson and Glenda Kaye Meyer Educational Grant— Grants awarded to adult students from Wells County or work in a nursing facility within Wells County who have been accepted into a nursing program. The grants are available for individuals who are re-entering school or improving their training. Financial need may be a consideration. 
 

Edward and Henrietta Goetz Nursing Scholarship— Awards scholarships to individuals who have completed one year of full-time study and are pursuing a degree in nursing, having been accepted into an accredited RN Program. 

Vance and Marie Wilson Memorial Nursing Scholarship— Provides scholarships to residents of Wells County or those who are employed at a healthcare facility within Wells County and have been accepted into an accredited Basic RN Program (2-4 year) and have completed a minimum of one semester in the nursing program.
